The Witch's Cabin

Evren's eyes trailed along the shelf; eventually, they noticed small red berries hidden deep within a corner of the shelf, almost unnoticeable. They were dusty, old - as if they had been there for a long time, and yet, they couldn't feel more dangerous.

They did not know what these berries did, but their hidden status and the bad auras coming of off them gave Evren an unsettling feeling. Their paw trembled as they reached out almost to touch, but retracted their paw at the last second, gulping.

A certain darkness were emitted from the small red berries, a certain danger a voice deep inside their head told them they shouldn't explore. Why did Selene have these? He couldn't help but wonder, averting their eyes elsewhere.
