The all-seeing eye

Code Name: REVERIE

It is difficult to describe a cat that has yet to be born; one can have ideas and plans, but there is never a guarantee that those plans won’t change in accordance to the many unplanned events that take place throughout their life. This is essentially a preface to the personality and plans that will be laid out before you; though these are the ideas she was created with, WCO’s unpredictability has a habit of altering plans in a manner that may even surprise the rper! For the sake of easiness, she may on occasion be referred to by the code name of ‘Reverie’. Now with without further ado, this is she.

With an appearance comparable to a fluffy little lamb, she is indeed often mistaken as being sugary sweet; in simple terms, she looks sweet, fluffy, cute and frankly, cuddly. Very cuddly, in fact, and her occasional silence may be mistaken for a sweet shyness. Although in fairness, that is a font she often puts up – and perhaps she simply isn’t among the loudest. There is a certain silence, a certain poise and abiding to the authority around her that she puts up; often opposing the thoughts running through her mind.

You see, she may also be described as a spitfire. Rough around the edges, tired of acting within the lines, and most of all, tired of being doted on. She was born without eyes, and without the appearance of a mighty fighter like some, the more caring, kind or worried may have a tendency to treat her with a certain fragility she does not enjoy. Her greatest irritation is being limited by the gentle and worried treatment of others, when really she is quite the fierce cat herself.

A jokester, a troublemaker; eager for adventure and to break out of the mundane every day life of a coddled kit and rule-abiding apprentice. She wants more from life, she wants to experience life. She wants to hone her skills and find out for herself what the world has to offer, and not merely sit around doing only what she is told and is expected of her. Her attention may seem fickle at best, her interests may vary a lot. Her willingness to experience life may lead her beyond the borders set for her. This could lead to danger. It could lead to trouble. But what is life if she doesn’t seek to experience it? What is life if she doesn’t look beyond the borders that are set for her, the borders of her home?

It is not among her plans or intentions to leave WindClan. Her loyalty remains to the clan, and the clan only. She remains wary of those outside of her home for reasons she can’t quite explain herself, but that doesn’t stop her from being interested. From trying to understand what lies beyond, and discover the secret of what being alive means. With a youth spent with the struggles of some looking only to coddle and protect her from the ‘big bad world’, she likes to seek out the company of those who do the opposite. Those who offer her challenges, however dangerous, those she can challenge and who challenge her in turn - those who don't consider her lack of sight a drawback or weakness, just like she does. She is not bothered by her blindness, and frankly, she believes no one else should be either. Her favourite battles are battles against an equal match, be it a game, verbal debates or an actual fight. She can be astute, more so than what she is given credit for or acts like.

Her appearance fools those who do not look beyond what the eye can see, her mind challenges those who get closer. An obedient young one by day – presenting in a way she believes would please and appease her mother/s, a way she believes they would want her to present herself. But she is a fighter by night; a life-seeking and adventurous feline looking for challenge after challenge, always ready for a fight and willing to prove another wrong. The manners she presents in front of her parents disappear, and that silent observance she caries herself with is replaced with a more boisterous act.

All things considered, she has the spirit of a fighter and adventurer, placed in the position of a poet. And in the end, all things considered – even if she struggles with those she considers overly motherly or concerned – she does love her family. She likes to tease her siblings (rather endlessly, in fact) and enjoys training alongside them, spending time with them, even if she won’t openly admit, at least not always. She wants to make her parents proud, be cared and loved by them for who she is, and sometimes worries what they think of her, most notably Twilightstar. Really, she just wants to live a happy and loving life with her family and clan, regardless of her own reservations and struggles she faces in daily life.

"I am not just obedient, I am not just helpless, I am not just blind. I am a fighter, and perhaps a better one than most of the clan."

"You did fine, Don't worry!
...
If scaring away all the clan's prey was your intention
."
