From a young age, Sleepykit proves to be among the more independent type of cats -- perhaps she takes after her mother, or perhaps it's simply that she's hyper-aware of who her family is. Daughter of an enforcer who happens to have been given the daughter title by Dawnstar, Sleepykit wishes to walk in her mother's footsteps (or at least believes that is what's expected of her) and holds great admiration for the Shadow queen. Sully their names is her greatest fear and thus she strives to be the perfect daughter and clanmate, always hard-working and always obedient. You'll never see her step out of line or disobey orders, never see her slouch or hold herself in a manner that is anything but regal. Picky with whom she spends her time, Sleepykit struggles to make friends. She follows orders but hesitates at times in different elements, struggling with the idea of daring to do something. Often spotted alone or running errands, some see her as freaky and weird, a robot of a cat that never does anything wrong. But is it all a front?

She would turn her head and avoid giving an answer, but the truth is most likely yes. When the sun sets and the moon rises to the sky -- or rather when someone sees past that thick shell of hers, one might realise her to be cunning and sly in her own right. Learning to be a master of words, Sleepykit may not be the best fighter physically, but she sure will beat you in a verbal fight. Learning how to twist words and truths in her favour without telling a lie, dear cousin Sweets might be amused to see the kitten takes after her in that aspect, though follows her mother's cunning. Different as she may seem on the outside, she truly is her mother's child. Though it is not something she makes use of often; bailing siblings out of punishment? Mayyyybe. Lying to someone's face? No, she does have standards. Lies will get her nowhere after all -- especially when her goal is to gain her mother's and granny Dawnstar's attention and praise.

That's what she shows on the outside, on a daily basis: the front of a perfect daughter, a hard and serious worker, someone with ambition and obedience, and the willpower to make it. But break through her shell and you will be surprised. Beneath it all, Sleepykit can be a surprisingly gentle cat. She isn't all that violence-oriented (as opposed to what her words and skills may suggest), and she absolutely loves taking naps! Curling up in a warm nest, snuggled close with those she cares about, just sleeping and dreaming and resting and peaceful, she loves it. And true to her name, values her sleep a lot. It's important!! And playing silly little games and pranking the occasional cat? Oh boy, she would never admit to it, but actually does enjoy doing so if someone else is there to enjoy it with her. She can be a little cheeky sometimes, but only sometimes of course. And in secret. With a surprisingly gentle side, she also has that kitten curiosity to her, though once more she likes to keep her curious side under lock and key, being a little embarrassed by it. Yes, little Sleepykit can get a little shy sometimes when it comes to certain things, such as admitting that she cares about someone that isn't her family, or that she really just is another silly little kit.

Overall, she can be a sweet little kitten with the usual kitten quirks and curiosities. But ultimately, she spends her time trying to be the perfect daughter so she can gain the attention and approval of those she wants it from, aiming to be mature and well-behaved for her age. She watches over her siblings from afar, and while not outwardly open with others, can be nice enough if prompted to. You just have to get to know her to really see her for who she is -- and not many achieve that. Most see her as the cat that carries herself like a princess worthy of her title, always working hard and obeying the authorities. But beneath may as well lie a little rebel who just wants everyone to get along already.
